Car recall from February 25 to March 4

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall notice from February 25 to March 4, in which Ford recalled 144,340 vehicles and 79,017 vehicles. Please refer to the following list of this week's recalls involving ten or more units:

Volkswagen Group (Audi) is recalling some 2019-2021 Audi A8 and 2020-2021 Audi S8 models. The lack of a sealing pin may allow moisture to enter the engine control module connector, which may cause the control module to malfunction. 238 units were affected. read more

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Xpeditor and 2021 Legend vehicles equipped with MRS 7" displays. The display may restart during operation, causing the warning light to be invisible until the restart is complete. Display The screen may restart. During operation, the warning icons for seat belts, insufficient air, check engine, ABS, parking brake applied, turn signal indicator, fuel level, battery power, coolant temperature and oil pressure are completed after restarting It will not be visible before. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 101 "Control and Display". 870 vehicles were affected. Read more

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Xpeditor vehicles. The turbocharger heat shield may fail and fall off the vehicle. 577 units were affected. read more

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2021 X5 sDrive40i and X5 xDrive40i vehicles. The right front brake disc may be assembled with incorrect fasteners, which may cause the front brake disc to loosen over time. Nine units were affected. read more

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 228i, 228i xDrive and M235i xDrive vehicles for 2020-2021. If the driver starts the sunroof to automatically close and the state of the vehicle key changes to "closed" or "locked", the sunroof may continue to close. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 118 "Power Window System". 14,011 units were affected. read more

Blue Bird is recalling certain 2021-2022 Vision and 2022 national school buses equipped with hydraulic brakes and electronic stability control (ESC). The hydraulic brake control unit (ECU) may not be properly programmed, which may cause the ESC to malfunction. 60 units were affected. read more

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2022 All American buses equipped with hydraulic brakes and electronic stability control (ESC). The hydraulic brake control unit (ECU) may not be properly programmed, which may cause the ESC to malfunction. Two units were affected. read more

Blue Bird Body Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Vision and All American buses. Seats with integrated 3-point safety belts may not be installed correctly. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 210 "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorage". 619 units were affected. read more

The affected tires took too long to cure during the production process. 33,838 units were affected. read more

The side bracket bracket may fatigue under load, causing the side bracket assembly to malfunction, and the motorcycle may fall when it is stationary on the bracket. 1,601 units were affected. read more

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2020 Cyclone 2, Typhoon and Typhoon N vehicles. The steering gear mounting bolts may loosen and fall off, causing difficulty in steering. 10 units were affected. read more

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020 F-Super Duty F350 vehicles equipped with a 6.7-liter diesel engine, a single rear wheel (SRW), a 4X4 cab, a long box, and a 12k or 12.4k gross vehicle weight rating. These vehicles may display an inflated payload capacity value on the tire and loading information (TREAD) label, an inflated accessory reserve capacity (ARC) value on the safety certification label, and an inflated weight value on the truck camper loading document. If the vehicle is loaded with the payload specified on the TREAD label, it may exceed the rated gross vehicle weight (GVWR) or the rated gross axle weight (GAWR) and cause the vehicle to be overloaded. 9,979 units were affected. read more

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021 F-150 and 2020-2021 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty vehicles. During the manufacturing process, the windshield may not be properly bonded to the vehicle, causing it to fall off in a collision. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 212 "Windshield Installation". 79,017 units were affected. read more

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain Ranger vehicles from 2004 to 2006. These vehicles may be equipped with driver or passenger front airbag inflators as replacement service parts. These vehicles may suffer from long-term exposure to high absolute values. The propellant degrades and explodes with humidity, temperature, and temperature cycles. 144,340 units were affected. read more

Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles equipped with Cummins X15 engines. The cap screw that connects the flywheel to the crankshaft may not be tightened properly, causing the flywheel to fall off. Seven units were affected. read more

Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles equipped with multimedia system "Connect 5" and rear-view cameras. The rear view image may not be displayed for 2 seconds after the start of the reversing event. In addition, if the eCall system is activated when reverse gear is engaged, the rear view image may be obscured or covered by the visual display of the emergency call (eCall) pop-up window. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 111 for "Rear Visibility". 198 units were affected. read more

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2018-2021 International LoneStar and 2017-2021 International LT vehicles. The ring terminal of the battery ground cable at the connection point of the frame may break, resulting in power loss and unexpected engine shutdown without warning. 27,457 units were affected. read more

Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC. (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Jaguar F-Pace vehicles. When the high beams are automatically lit, the automatic high beam (AHB) system will not indicate through the instrument cluster. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 "Lights, Reflective Devices and Related Equipment". 565 units were affected. read more

Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corp. (KME) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Predator SS Rescue, 2017 Predator Emergency Tractor, 2014-2020 Predator Panther Pumper, 2013-2017 Predator Pumper, 2014 Predator Rescue and 2020 Predator Pumper vehicles. The welds connecting the suspension mount and the torque bar mount to the rear axle may not be sufficiently welded, which may cause the weld to break. 88 units were affected. read more

KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2020 1290 Super Duke R motorcycles. The wiring harness at the rear of the motorcycle may be incorrectly wired, which may cause damage to the wiring and electrical shorts. 521 units were affected. read more

Automobili Lamborghini is recalling certain 2018-2021 Aventador SVJ Coupe vehicles. The hood hinge screws may loosen, which may cause the hood to unlock. This may cause the hood to fall off the vehicle under certain high-speed driving conditions. 221 units were affected. read more

Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC. (Land Rover) Certain 2018-2020 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery and Range Rover Velar vehicles are being recalled. Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain 2022 VNL vehicles equipped with Alcoa mirror-polished wheels, part number ULT 391 and wheel dimensions of 22.5 x 8.25. In some cases, these wheels may not be able to support the load, which can cause the wheels to bend or break during use. 22 units were affected. read more

Volvo Cars America LLC (Volvo Cars) is recalling certain 2021-2022 XC40 Recharge vehicles. The battery energy control module (BECM) microprocessor may reset and cause the high voltage system to disconnect. Zero units were affected. read more
