Stewart Connector announced the launch of a new series of IP67-rated USB Type-A cable assemblies. These cable assemblies are designed for IoT applications that require reliability and functionality, and USB connectivity outside of typical office applications, and can be used in a variety of applications, including industrial automation, medical equipment, military applications, and other harsh environments.

These new IP67-rated cable assemblies feature USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 performance speeds, with multiple connector end options. IP67-rated terminal options include male and female USB connectors. Non-IP67 rated end options include two male USB connectors and free end cables for custom termination options. In order to make it more convenient and to ensure fast and correct mating and connection, the IP67-rated end configuration is equipped with a threaded socket
