VideoCardz has leaked the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X, a custom version of NVIDIA's upcoming flagship desktop graphics card. While NVIDIA teased the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti in January at CES 2022, the company has not released details about the device since. However, VideoCardz has obtained marketing images and specifications of MSI's card that will apply to all RTX 3090 Ti cards, including NVIDIA's Founders Edition.

As the image below shows, the RTX 3090 Ti utilises 10,752 CUDA cores and 24 GB of GDDR6X VRAM clocked at 21 Gbps. Additionally, NVIDIA has included a 384-bit memory bus, while MSI has clocked its card at up to 1,965 MHz. It remains unclear what NVIDIA's reference specifications are in this regard, though. Incidentally, MSI has equipped its graphics card with three DisplayPort 1.4a connections and a single HDMI 2.1 port that supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).

Incidentally, the SUPRIM X has a 3.5-slot design, making it much thicker than the comparable RTX 3090 SUPRIM X. Also, the RTX 3090 Ti's power requirements will require NVIDIA and its partners to include new power cables with their cards. According to VideoCardz, some manufacturers will include a 3x 8-pin to PCIe Gen 5 power cable, apparently because natively compatible PCIe Gen5 power supplies will launch after the RTX 3090 Ti. In comparison, MSI describes the SUPRIMX X as shipping with a single PCIe Gen 5 16-pin connector.

Previously, VideoCardz outlined that NVIDIA will announce and release the RTX 3090 Ti on March 29. Pricing details are yet to leak, but the RTX 3090 already retails for US$1,499. Using the RTX 3080 Ti as a barometer, the RTX 3090 Ti could hit shelves for close to US$2,000.
