The PiSquare is a simple accessory for a Raspberry Pi that allows it to communicate wirelessly with HATs. Reportedly, the PiSquare will work with any Raspberry Pi that is Wi-Fi compatible. The PiSquare has a fair amount of versatility to it as well, with either it or the Raspberry Pi able to act as a server.

Hence, you could connect multiple PiSquare-connected HATs to your Raspberry Pi that you have running as a server. Alternatively, the PiSquare supports the option of connecting to a second PiSquare acting as a server. All this is achieved with the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller and 16 MB of flash memory, plus an ESP-12E controller that supports 802.11 b/g/n, also known as WiFi 4. Additionally, the PiSquare has a 0.91-inch OLED display and a USB Type-C port for power.

Currently, the PiSquare is available to back through Kickstarter for £9. According to the manufacturer, Kickstarter orders should start shipping in June 2022, with production slated for May. Supposedly, the PiSquare will eventually retail for £20, but only after the Kickstarter campaign ends.
