The E+E Elektronik HTP501 humidity and temperature probe is created for usage in drying chambers and other demanding industrial applications. The stainless-steel probe provides excellent measurement accuracy and can be deployed in temperatures ranging from -40C to 120C (-40F to 248F). The measured values are offered on the RS485 interface with Modbus RTU protocol.

The device provides a rugged IP66 stainless steel enclosure, a high-temperature cable with moulded M12 connector, and a selection of different filter caps. The electronics are well protected inside the probe and safe from condensation and corrosion. The proprietary coating shields the humidity sensing element and leads against dust and corrosive deposits, providing exceptional measuring performance and long-term stability in harsh conditions. An optional sensor leads protection helps significantly extend the sensing element's service life in particularly aggressive environments.

The probe measures the relative humidity and temperature in an operating range of -40C to 120C (-40F to 248F). The high-quality humidity sensing element, temperature compensation and configurable pressure compensation assure superior measurement accuracy.

Two probe lengths (200mm and 400mm) and three different cable lengths provide the user a huge degree of flexibility when installing the probe. The free PCS10 configuration software assists the setup and supports individual configuration of the probe.

It is compatible with the Sigma 05 sensor hub by the company. The digital sensing probe can be plugged into the host device based on the plug-and-play principle and therefore, extended to a sensor unit with display and analogue outputs.
