Marshall announced the launch of the CV503-U3 micro POV camera for USB. This is a USB3.0 HD camcorder with interchangeable lenses. It has nothing to do with software, so you can use it for various applications.

It replaces the now discontinued CV502-U3 USB 3.0 HD POV camera.

In the past 10 years, CV503 series cameras have been used as unique viewpoint cameras in TV production. Television broadcasting, sports broadcasting, news broadcasting, weather broadcasting, racing, reality TV, game shows, talk shows and live concerts all use small Marshall POV cameras.

The camera is equipped with a 2.8 mm wide-angle lens that produces a 90° horizontal angle of view because it has an interchangeable lens mount. There are a variety of M12 lenses for you to install on the camera. These lenses range from 2.3 mm, F2.2 3MP all the way to 16.0 mm, F1.8 2MP. You can also choose 2.8~12mm, F1.4 3MP lens or 6.0~22mm, F1.6

The following resolutions and frame rates are available:

The latest generation of CV503 POV camera adopts a sturdy aluminum alloy body, a secure locking connector and a good low-light capability.

The setting can be changed through UVC1.5. The camera is suitable for any Mac, PC, laptop or Linux system.

There is currently no sign of pricing. The discontinued CV502-U3 USB 3.0 HD POV camera is priced at approximately US$600.
