The "Where the Game Begins" event was held by AMD earlier today. This is the official release of the Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB. This is not all. In addition to the event, PowerColor is the first company to officially showcase its customized Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB. The custom variant of PowerColor will be named Hellhound. Radeon RX 6700 XT Hellhound deviates from PowerColor's consistent design philosophy.

We learned from the press conference that Radeon RX 6700 XT will use Navi 22 XT GPU, which has 40 computing units, which is equivalent to 2560 stream processors. It is equipped with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, with a 192-bit bus interface and RDNA 2 graphics architecture. The reference card is powered by an 8 6-pin connector configuration, with a TDP of 230W. It also has 96 MB Infinity Cache and 40 Ray accelerator, which can implement ray tracing on RDNA 2 based GPUs.

Hellhound is different in terms of power supply because it utilizes a dual 8-pin connector instead of the 86-pin connector configuration on the reference model. Hellhound may also have a higher TDP. In the design, PowerColor uses a light blue that is most similar to aqua blue, instead of the standard red tone in the Red Devil and Red Dragon series. There is a demonic hound with the same name as the hell hound on the backboard. The hound is inside the blue triangle, and the eyes are lit by blue LEDs. According to the trailer, the card appears to have a blue LED accent.

The PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Hellhound looks like a sturdy card with an attractive design and is likely to be sold at a high price. We are not sure if other manufacturers will follow suit and make fun of their cards, but we did leak images of ASUS customized models.
