NVIDIA will be launching a brand new Pascal based graphics cards in a few days, to be known as the GeForce GTX 1060. The GeForce GTX 1060 will enter the sub-$300 US market with a starting price of $249 US and will have several custom models available on launch along with the $299 US Founders Edition (Reference) model. Today, we will be rounding up several custom models to make it easier for you to decide which one to choose when buying a GTX 1060 card on 19th July.

There are a ton of GeForce GTX 1060 custom models that have been revealed up till today. Each model features the manufacturer's signature cooling design and non-reference PCBs that allow users to obtain more clock speeds out of the graphics card. The custom models of the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card will start at a MSRP of $249 US.

Launching in just 3 days, the GeForce GTX 1060 will be NVIDIA's first card to utilize their latest GP106 GPU core. The GeForce GTX 1060 has 1280 CUDA cores, 80 TMUs and 48 ROPs. The GTX 1060 is clocked at speeds of 1506 MHz base and 1708 MHz boost clock which delivers a texture fill rate of 120.5 GTexels/s. The GeForce GTX 1060 also features a 6 GB GDDR5 VRAM buffer that runs across a 192-bit bus interface. The memory is configured to run at 8000 MHz which is the fastest speed available for GDDR5 memory.

All of the graphics cards that have been launched by AIB partners are listed below. Manufacturers have went with completely new design schemes on their cards along with impressive board designs that will be shaking the overclocking scene with Pascal GPUs as with the custom models of the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 that came before. So let's begin rounding up the custom GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards.

The MSI GeForce GTX 1060 is a very impressive model as it features their amazing Twin Frozr VI cooling and non reference PCB that features Military Class components. The Twin Frozr VI cooler on this card is based on a beefy heatsink design that features a dense aluminum fin array that is cooled off by two large fans. MSI uses their V.6 Dragoon design on this cooler to add in an interesting aesthetic display that features a red and black layout and RGB lighting.

Since this is a factory overclocked model, we would be looking at clock speeds around 1850 MHz as far as boost clocks are concerned. The card is powered by a single 8-Pin connector which adds in more power to the graphic board compared to the single 6-Pin connector on the reference models. The MSI GeForce GTX 1060 will feature a price around $279 US since it is using a fully custom design. Display outputs would include the standard config featuring three DP 1.4, a single HDMI 2.0b and a single DVI-D port.

ASUS is using a fully reference PCB and cooler design just like every other AIB but they have their grand Direct CU III cooler featured on the GeForce GTX 1060. The ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 STRIX with DirectCU III cooling is going to be available in two variants, a stock config which will feature the reference clock speeds and the other being an overclocked config which will feature a factory overclock.

Both cards have very beefy coolers with the DirectCU III heatsink that deploys a five heatpipe solution that make direct contact with the GPU to dissipate its heat of f the core. The card features a triple fan cooler that cool off the massive heatsink. There's a backplate on the card which is a very good addition for a high-end design offered on the GTX 1060 ROG STRIX. The cooler shroud features a black color scheme which is added with a couple of RGB LEDs that can be programmed by the user. Display outputs include Dual HDMI, Dual DP and a single DVI-D port.

The PCB is a 6+1 Phase DIGI+ design that offers support for higher overclockability. There are two additional 4-Pin fan headers on this card if users want to go crazy while cooling. Coming to the variants, the stock sticks to the reference clock speeds of 1506 MHz base, 1708 MHz boost and 8 GHz for the memory. The overclocked variant which should cost a little extra comes with clock speeds of 1645 MHz / 1620 MHz base in Gaming and Overclocked modes respectively. Similarly, the boost speeds are rated at 1847 MHz and 1873 MHz depending on the BIOS you are using. The memory will be configured at 8.2 GHz.

Aside from the DirectCU III variant, ASUS will also be offering the GeForce GTX 1060 in their Turbo and Dual variants which will offer better stability, cooling and overclocking support over the reference models. Expect Turbo starting at a price of $259 US followed by the Dual at $269 and the ROG STRIX at $289 US (overclock).

ZOTAC is releasing four models based on the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card design. The first two cards are aimed at the Mini-ITX platforms in the form of the GeForce GTX 1060 Mini and the GeForce GTX 1060 AMP!.

Starting off with the GTX 1060 AMP!, we are looking at a card that has a custom PCB with a single 6-Pin power connector. This variant comes with 1557 MHz base and 1771 MHz boost clock while the memory runs at the stock config of 8 GHz. ZOTAC has featured a dual fan cooler on this card with a large aluminum fin array that uses dual copper heat pipes to dissipate heat from the GPU surface. This card looks really well with its industrial build design.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 Mini is a proper Mini-ITX solution aimed for SFF PC builders. This card has two variants, a 6 GB variant and surprisingly, a 3 GB variant. This confirms that the GeForce GTX 1060 will indeed have 3 GB variants with lower prices than the 6 GB $249 US variants. Both cards are clocked at stock speeds that are 1506 MHz base and 1708 MHz boost. The card features a custom PCB with a single 6-Pin connector powering the board.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 X-Gaming is the higher overclocked variant that uses a custom PCB with a 4+1 phase PCB design. This board is powered by a 8-Pin power connector and comes with base clock of 1569 MHz and boost clock of 1784 MHz. The board is cooled by a dual fan cooler that pushes air vertically inside the heatsink to blow the hot air out of the exhaust vents. The display connectivity is different on the card compared to reference models. it includes two DVI, a single HDMI and a single DP 1.4 port. The card even comes with a back plate which is always a plus.

ZOTAC is also preparing a Prime Gamer Force or PGF edition variant of the GeForce GTX 1060 which we will get to see really soon. From what we have heard, the card rocks a triple fan cooler with a fully custom PCB and an 8-Pin power connector for unprecedented amount of power to the GP106 core. This card is expected to feature price close to $299 US.

EVGA being NVIDIA's top AIB partner in the US is also ready with at least two GeForce GTX 1060 solutions that will hit the market next week. Both their cards feature the ACX 3.0 cooling solutions and are aimed at Mini-ITX gaming cases which should be a great attraction for all buyers. Both cards are based on a custom PCB that will utilize a single 6-Pin connector to power the board.

The Gaming model features the reference clock speeds while the Superclocked model has much higher clock speeds at 1607 MHz base and 1835 MHz boost and should cost $10-$20 US more than the reference variant starting at $249 US. The card features a single fan that pushes air within a dense fin heat sink with copper heatpipe solution.

The ACX 3.0 family features the dual fan cooler designs along with custom PCB that would offer much higher clock speeds compared to reference variants. Final clock speeds are yet to be determined but we can expect prices around $279 and $289 US for these models. While the Mini-ITX solutions feature a single 6-Pin power connector, the ACX 3.0 variants come with 8-Pin connection which means that these can be overclocked with ease beyond 2 GHz.

Gigabyte is following the RGB theme on their GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming graphics card with a technology known as RGB spectrum. The sides of the shroud will emit LED based on user configuration. The card features the G1 Gaming WindForce design that comes with a orange and black colored cooler shroud that houses two 90mm fans. These fans pass air to a dual heatsink featuring aluminum fins and interconnected by a copper heat pipe to dissipate heat efficiently.

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming comes with a sexy backplate and a custom PCB featuring a 6+1 phase PWM design. One notable thing about this card is that it has fans that spin in alternate direction to allow 2x air circulation over standard coolers. Also just in case you don't miss it out, the card features the fan stop technology which has become common on many custom cards and it basically stops spinning the fans under a certain temperature limit to save power and limit noise output from the cooler.

As for the card, it features a single 8-Pin power connector which shows that it has a beefy PCB design. Final clock speeds for the card is yet to be determined but it the memory will be clocked at the reference speed of 8 GHz. Expect to learn more about this card and its pricing in a few days.

Palit has a total of three cards launching from their end and all three have custom PCB designs. First up, we have the GeForce GTX 1060 Dual which as the name should suggest, features two 90mm fans that push air inside a large aluminum fin array heatsink with multiple copper heatpipes. This card features a single 6-Pin power connector and has factory overclocked specifications to give the card a good boost in performance compared to reference variants.

Next up, we have both the Palit Jetstream and Palit Super Jetstream variants which are the higher clocked cards with faster clock speeds. The Super Jetstream variant has a clock speed of 1847 MHz boost and 8 GHz effective for the memory. Both cards feature the latest JetStream cooler from Palit that comes with RGB LED Lightning that can be changed in accordance to the temperatures of the card.

Palit GeForce GTX 1060 JetStream Series Features:

Inno3D has two very high-end models of the GeForce GTX 1060 which share the same custom PCB. In fact, this PCB looks a lot similar to the GeForce GTX 1070 PCB in design which should offer it incredible amount of head room for overclocking.

The first card to utilize this PCB is the GeForce GTX 1060 Ice Dragon gaming edition which comes with a dual fan cooler that houses 100mm fans. The card has a very dense aluminium fin based heatsink array that uses a red and black cooler shroud to cover it up. The heatsink houses two blocks which are interconnected through four heatpipes. There's a mirror finish contact base for the GPU to dissipate heat faster off of the core. Clock speeds for this card are configured at 1569 MHz base, 1784 MHz boost and 8.2 GHz memory clock.

The second model in the lineup uses Inno3D's renowned iChill X3 cooler based on the HerculeZ design scheme. The cooler comes with a industrial design that uses metallic silver color scheme for the shroud and houses 3 80 mm fans that are part of the HerculeZ x3 Air Boss cooler. Display ports include DVI, HDMI and three DP 1.4 out puts. The I/O shield has a matte black finish which looks really great plus the added backplate is a big bonus on the card. This card has the same custom PCB design featuring a 5+1 phase PWM that is powered by a single 8-Pin power connector for added juice to the core. Expect this model to ship at price of around $289 US.

Inno3D has two more variants in their lineup, one being the Mini-ITX OC and the other being the Gaming OC model. The GTX 1060 Gaming OC model features the HerculeZ X2 cooler with a full metal shroud design that comes in a metallic black color. The dual fan cooler pushes heat towards a large aluminum heatsink that offers greater cooling performance compared to the reference variants.

The Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming OC comes with a GTX 1070 Founders Edition PCB. This is actually the same version except the SLI ports are missing since the GTX 1060 doesn't support multi-GPU functionality. The 8-Pin power connector can be seen which adds more power to the board. The card features a TDP of 130W, 10 Watts higher than the reference design due to its custom board. Clocks are maintained at 1531 MHz base and 1746 MHz boost.

Colorful has a list of impressive GeForce GTX 1060 custom models coming up which were talked about in a press release that Videocardz covered a few days ago. All models from Colorful will feature a beastly PCB followed by a fast factory overclock which will make these cards probably the best of the bunch but these graphics cards are definitely going to cost a bit higher than reference models. Specifications for all the models are listed below:

The Colorful iGame GeForce GTX 1060 X TOP comes with clock speeds of 1620 MHz base and 1847 MHz boost while the memory is clocked at 8200 MHz. This card features a very powerful 8 Phase PCB with cooling all over the place. It has a triple fan cooler with a massive heatsink along with smaller heatshrinks for VRM and VRAM. The card comes with a 6+6 Pin configuration on a 120W card that should give you an idea of its overclocking range which will easily cross the 2 GHZ barrier.

The second model, the GTX 1060 U TOP looks more impressive in terms of design scheme with a white, black and red color scheme. This card is clocked to 1594 MHz base, 1809 MHz boost and 8200 MHz memory clocks. the card comes with the same PCB as the GTX 1060 X TOP but looks more impressive visually. Card is powered by a dual 6-Pin connector configuration.

Gainward has a total of five custom GeForce GTX 1060 models which is completely insane. Aside from their own take at the founders edition which will cost $249 US, the rest of the models will be available for $249+ and have custom cooler and PCB designs. Following is a list of all the variants that Gainward is working on.

The Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 Gale graphics card comes with clock speeds of 1544 MHz base and 1759 MHz boost. This variant uses the Storm Cooler which houses dual 80mm fans colored in red on a red and black color shroud. The display configuration featured on this card has dual DVI, single HDMI and single DP 1.4 port.

The Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 Herd edition comes with a base clock of 1518 MHz and boost clock of 1733 MHz. This card features the Wind Shield XE Cooler that combines a black and white color scheme on the GPU cooler shroud along with red texturing on the mesh and fans. The card comes with even less Display Ports compared to the reference model that include a single HDMI, DVI and Display Port. This card is also powered through a single 6-Pin connector but comes with a 3+1 Phase VRM compared to 4+1 Phase on the GTX 1060 Gale edition.

The Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 Founders Edition is another graphics card that comes with a custom cooler shroud. Don't let the Founders Edition name fool you, this version of the cooler is a cheaper variant based on the plastic body that we have seen on older Kepler and Maxwell based cards. The card event features the reference PCB with stock configuration of the GTX 1060. While the GTX 1060 Founders Edition costs $299 US, the Gainward model would set you back for a price of $249 US as it's designed to be cost effective and not aesthetically pleasing as NVIDIA's own NVTTM variant.

The other two variants in Gainward's lineup are the GeForce GTX 1060 Dual and GeForce GTX 1060 Phoenix which feature custom PCB designs and larger cooler than the other variants. Both cards feature double fan design and come with a single 6-Pin connector. The Phoenix variant is a triple slot monster so we can expect some beefy heatsink assembly under its hood.

Just like Gainward, GALAX has an endless array of custom GeForce GTX 1060 cards starting from their Founders Edition which comes with base clock of 1506 MHz and boost clock of 1709 MHz and shipping at a price of $249 US with the regular plastic based heatsink.

The other models are the ones which are more interesting in terms of custom designs for coolers and PCB. They can be seen below listed along with their specifications and pictures. Do note that the custom variants will cost extra over the MSRP which is $249 US for the 6 GB GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards.
